I’m really sorry for the lack of updates here, but real life kept me quiet busy. I’m back with really good news. The first single, ‘Makes Me Wonder’ is out and you can hear it here. I just LOVE this song!
I also capped the news segment from the set of their new music video ‘Makes Me Wonder’, which you can watch here. If you’re asking me, the new video looks like a mix of the ‘Harder To Breathe’ and ‘Soap Opera’ videos!
Actually, I worked on a nice gallery update, while I found some really interesting news on the new album:
It Won’t Be Soon Before Long is the title for Maroon 5′s second studio album. It is expected to be released in May 22, 2007. The name was inspired by a mantra the band adopted to keep themselves motivated whilst on their tour.
The band have stated in interviews that the album will have a different feel to it. The songs will not all be based on one specific relationship, as in “Songs About Jane”; and will also have a different sound to their first album, being more eclectic and drawing inspiration from such artists as Talking Heads and Prince.
The lead single off this set is “Makes Me Wonder”

Sorry, for the lateness, but I just found out that the guys showed up at the 3rd Annual Global Green Pre Oscar Party on February 21. They played 2 of their new songs (‘Wake Up Call’ and another one). I remember that I found 2 clips at youtube of those performances, but sadly the videos got deleted. It kept me wondering, why the guys are playing their new stuff when they don’t want that anybody can hear them… As much, as I can say about the new songs, they’re much Maroon 5 and I liked them a lot!
Last but not least, I kept the album open for public, but remember I’m going to put it ‘for users only’ within a week. Happy watching!
