Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has reportedly tried to serenade Amy Winehouse. The singer is said to have called up Winehouse on Sunday and sung to her down the phone. According to The Sun, British singer Remi Nicole gave Levine the star’s number at the Coachella festival last weekend. “Remi was with Maroon 5 and called Amy. Adam sang her their hit ‘She Will Be Loved’. I heard Amy singing along,” a source said.

The Natural Resources Defense Council’s Southern California office is celebrating its 20th anniversary on April 25 in Beverly Hills and the party is boasting a nice list of A-list celebrities coming out to lend their support. The event will be hosted by Julia Louis-Dreyfus and will be held at the Beverly Wilshire. Leonardo DiCaprio, who is a trustee for the organization, and Robert Redford will both be in attendance. Maroon 5 will be playing the gala and Rosanna Arquette will be the DJ for the after-party. DiCaprio and Redford will also be featured in a short film highlighting the accomplishments of the NRDC’s office celebrating the anniversary. Redford released a statement about the NRDC saying, “You can be tough doing bad things, and tough doing good things. NRDC, in my opinion, is tough doing good things.” DiCaprio called the NRDC in a statement “probably the most effective environmental organization in the world. It is willing to take on major corporations and the government itself to hold them accountable for the environmental policy that’s out there.” Thanks to AHN for this news!
